MeDiCo | A Medical Discourse Corpus in French

MeDiCo (Medical Discourse Corpus) was created with the aim of providing the scientific community with an artificial spoken dataset including utterances related to the medical consultation domain. This corpus was recorded by the Translation Technology Department (TIM) at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI) of University of Geneva. The authors would like to express their gratitude to those who kindly accepted to take part in the experiments. The campaign was conducted as part of the BabelDr project, arising for the collaboration between the FTI and the Geneva University of Hospitals and aiming to provide a reliable speech-enabled translation device for medical emergency settings.
